On Tuesday I expected the new glass tank to arrive for Mort, but the shipping turned out to be taking longer. So I did some adjustments to his temporary home. Every time the log was moved, he scooted underneath it again. If I was really quiet, he would peek his head out.
Mort in the morning
Mort has his heat lamp above the water on a metal top. Now he can warm up a bit (and the tub won't melt).
On Tuesday I learned that teachers were no longer going to be able to go into the Center for a while. Knowing that the filter was still going on Mort's tank there, I raced to unplug it, grab any remaining Mort supplies, and try to drain the tank as much as possible.
Here's my walk through the quiet Center building
